NATURE RESERVES
Goat Rocks
The nature reserve is located on the western part of the Kopaonik mountain, on the left side of the Smokovska river gorge, above which rise the very attractive rocks that gave the reserve its name.
Vučak
The nature reserve is located in the northwestern part of the park, in the area of Banjsko Kopaonik, on the southwestern side of the Vučak peak. It covers an area of 62.02 ha.
Mrkonja
The nature reserve is located on the left side of the valley of the Gobelj river below the locality of Mrkonja. It covers an area of 31.10 ha.
Janko's ponds
Janko’s ponds are located at about 1420 m above sea level in the valley of the Rečica stream. It covers an area of 103.82 ha. The basic value of this reserve is represented by tresava communities – sensitive and rare ecosystems characterized by mosses of the genus Sphagnum, and at the same time coexistence of rare, endemic hyrelic plant species that are protected as natural rarities: Potentilla palustris, Menyanthes trifoliata, Dctylorhizacordygerassp, Bosniaca, Salix rosmarinifolia and others.
Gobelja
It is located on Mala Gobelja, including the headwaters of the Gobelja river and extends from the arched ridge on the line: Oštrikrš – Big Gobelja – Small Gobelja, to the bed of the Gobelja river. It covers an area of 138.64 ha.
Bar river
It is located on the right valley side of the Bar River, in Ravni Kopaonik. It covers an area of 89.92 ha.
